Action Shines at Turkey Tumble | November 15, 2009

Action's Level 3, 4 and 5 teams competed in the Turkey Tumble Invitational held at Bishop George Ahr High School in Edison, NJ.

Level 3 gymnasts Jamie Polonet, Natalie Gray, Kay Kim, Brooke Boker and Giselle Nestepny competed in the 5 to 6 age group. Jamie placed 1st on bars (9.45), floor (9.1) and All Around (36.75). Natalie tied for 2nd on vault (9.0) and floor (8.8) and placed 3rd All Around (35.2). Kay tied for 3rd on floor (8.7) and placed 4th All Around (33.4). Brooke placed 3rd on vault (8.4) and Giselle tied for 5th on the same event.

Casi Worman, Sydney Stabile and Meghan Murphy competed in the 7 and up age group. Casi placed 2nd on floor (9.15), 3rd on beam (9.25) and 4th All Around (36.1). Sydney placed 5th on both vault (9.1) and All Around (35.4). Meghan placed 4th on beam (9.2) and 10th All Around (34.4).

Level 4 gymnasts Jianna Cataldo, Allison Graff, Julia Rogers and Alyssa Takacs competed in the 6 to 7 age group. Jianna placed 1st on bars (9.6), 2nd on vault (9.3) and 2nd All Around (37.15). Alli placed for 1st on beam (9.35) and Julia placed 4th on bars (9.35). Julia and Alli tied for 5th All Around (36.25). Alyssa placed 5th on bars (9.3) and 10th All Around (35.85).

Lauren Coppola and Joan Kim competed in the 9 year old age group. Lauren placed 1st on vault (9.5).

Level 5 gymnasts Courtney Morrisson, Alexis Rogers and Julianna Greenwood competed in the 7 to 8 age group. Courtney placed 2nd on bars (9.45), floor (9.25) and All Around (36.9). Alexis placed 1st on bars (9.5), 3rd on floor (9.15) and 3rd All Around (36.45). Julianna placed 3rd on floor and 7th All Around (34.95).

Kylie Caputo, Samantha Jones, Talia Hanaburgh, Kayla Thorn and Megan Compell competed in the 9 year old age group. Kylie placed 1st on beam and 3rd All Around (36.9). Samantha placed 3rd on vault (9.25), 2nd on floor (9.3) and 4th All Around (36.65). Talia tied for 3rd place on floor (9.25) and placed 5th All Around (36.15). Kayla placed 2nd on vault (9.35), 4th on bars (9.35) and 7th All Around (35.65). Megan placed 5th on bars.

Morgan Buchko competed in the 10 year old age group. She placed 2nd on balance beam(9.15) and 3rd All Around (34.15).
